We are delighted to be collaborating with The Art Room
at Dumfries Market Festival. They have been delivering children’s workshops since 2012, its a family business where Emma Fisher works with her husband and youngest son to deliver a very busy programme.
Eleven classes per week are currently hosted by The Art Room where they look at art/craft themes and projects. They also host baby art sessions for the mini humans aged 9 months - 4 years, afterschool clubs for 5 - 11 years and 12 - 18 years, plus a full programme of creative activities for adults of all abilities.
Emma has appreciated and enjoyed art/craft since childhood and after her youngest started school she went to college and university where Emma gained her honours degree in applied enterprise art and business. She truly believes that everyone has a creative streak in them, some just need that break to be teased out!!!
