Art by Emma Gray
I officially started Art by Emma Gray last summer however I have practiced art for as long as I can remember! I am originally from Glasgow and upon moving to Galloway, decided to focus my work on the surrounding area and what inspires me from it. My particular interests lie in forestry and animals. I like to depict these themes in a slightly different manner than as they appear, often with a pop of colour. I also take animal commissions predominantly in dogs and horses.

Bob Loves Landy
Bob Loves Landy was born of parenthood and creativity. Already a dressmaker with a history in costume, motherhood was an eye opener in more ways than one. I loved sewing tiny things for my little one and others and now it makes sense from a recycling stance to make tiny clothes and kits from the off cuts of my adult leggings. My adult leggings were born of a desire to celebrate the female body in all her tiny human growing glory, clothing her in comfortable and colourful fabrics and spreading joy.
Carrot Top Design
Gifts ideas, including mugs, prints and accessories which are designed using the geometric design of the Sanquhar Knitting pattern as well as much loved Scottish words and phrases.
Carrot Top Threads
Kirsty loves the films and music she grew up with, she can’t remember words to a song she heard yesterday but as soon as a song from the 80’s or 90’s comes on wireless Kirsty will be singing all the words. Her first t-shirt was Pure Muriel, me and my pals have said ‘thats muriel’ for anything bad, stupid or daft since we watched Muriel’s Wedding in our teens.
So that's where the t-shirts slogans are from, just things she remembers that Kirsty liked then and the times associated with them. She just hopes other folk have memories of those film and songs too.
